Re: Angelo Ogbonna - Signed!
Like nearly all of our signings last summer, he's been excellent. We now have four centre halves who we can switch around without having to worry about a drop off in performance.

Great position to be in.

Love his attitude.... he always has a smile on his face, even when he wasn't being picked.

Hope (and think) he will stay and not be lured by the bright lights of Manchester. Ha ha

Our best defender

Re: Angelo Ogbonna - Signed!
He was comfortable with the ball at his feet in Serie A and I though we needed that among other things. I thought for the price he could be a next level centre back for us. It still is relatively early days but his passing and reading of when press up combined with being a good physical centre back makes me think he has progressed in that direction.

I will always root for him him as he was given a rough time at Juve (and this board) behind the 3 Italian starting centre backs and it took him a bit to settle but it is nice to see him doing well.

Re: Angelo Ogbonna - Signed!
Was never convinced that we needed him to be honest and his first few games he looked a bit out of place for my liking, but he's grown in confidence and has been a superb signing. Given our defensive woes injury wise this season, we've absolutely needed him and he's done a great job.

Re: Angelo Ogbonna - Signed!
Been a good signing, but I now see the press are printing rumours that “Big clubs” are interested, in both Manchester Utd and City.

Do find it cunty that the rags talk as if it’s a forgone conclusion that he will be off as they are interested, all the bollocks I have read talk about both these Manchester clubs having identified Ogbonna and now it’s a tussle between the 2 as to who signs him, no mention that he may stay at West Ham?

Typical arrogant press, its all about an elite few.

With tomkins on the pitch, we have beaten arsenal 2-0 and Bournemouth 3-2.

Cresswell at fault for first and second goals , jenkinson for last two .

If you highlight a problem position then spunk 40% of your budget on it, contrary to perceived wisdom, you need to make that work

You dont yank the fucker off after half an hour in public ridicule in front of the home crowd

Ludicrous decision making on all fronts

I'd have thought Tomkins will play at RB next week?

Re: Angelo Ogbonna - Signed!
Him on the left Tomkins on the right is the best partnership.

Reid is the best defender of the three but he's shit on the ball.

Tomkins and Ogbonna for me at Libpool.

A match day squad has at least three central defenders .

Re: Angelo Ogbonna - Signed!
he was the best of an awful back four
subbing him was stupid and the waste of a switch
jenkinson should have been spared his embarrassment with tompkins coming on for him
